Mel Cyrille, author of In-arms carrying, offer two workshops on October 28th 2017 in conjunction with the Bära barn – The Swedish Babywearing Conference

Newborn – 3 months 

Workshop aims:

– Have awareness of safety and your baby’s stage of development

– Identify infant reflexes – Know signs of integration process and what will be replaced by

– Identify personal postural/alignment issues and know how to correct

– Find best supporting method for dyad

– Know variations to encourage spinal/muscular development

– Identify bracing tendencies and how to fix

– Know how to work with the reflexes

 

Covering:

– Safety

– Physiology

– Infant reflexes and their integration

– Posture and alignment

– Chest-to-chest and shoulder hug

– Find best supporting methods for dyad

– Know variations to encourage spinal/muscular development

– Identify bracing tendencies and how to fix

– Know how to work with the reflexes and voluntary actions

– Safety

– Physiology

– Infant reflexes and postural reflexes/voluntary actions

– Posture and alignment

– Chest-to-chest and hip holds
